Hello! I’m Kate and I am the owner of all things MMMGifts, based in Nottinghamshire, England. I have two children – Zoë & Ava as well as a very supportive husband, Henry. They are also a huge part of the team and will often be seen at our Under 5s sessions or at home packaging products; I most definitely could not do it without them!

Back in April 2018, I joined a friend helping at the village playgroup sessions, fun for all under 5s with a structured section of music and movement based on a theme followed by free-play and a craft activity. I really enjoyed seeing the children develop through these sessions, as well as my own two children socialising and learning through play. Not long afterwards I took sole ownership of the business and set about turning the sessions into a more structured set up and with an aim to expand into other venues. In January 2020 I rebranded, launching Mini Maker Move across 6 different venues across Nottinghamshire.

In March 2020 Coronavirus swept the world and our sessions were not able to take place. Time for a rethink! I held free sessions over social media for most of lockdown 1 but it became obvious life wasn’t going back to ‘normal’ anytime soon. (Who knew hey!?)

Some of our regular parents asked for activity boxes to keep their little ones entertained. And that is how our themed craft boxes came about! I set up an etsy shop and soon the kits were off to all different corners of the world! Shortly after the craft boxes I started putting my creativity into making personalised products for our own use and as gifts, these were added to the shop as they became popular. This is when I decided to formally extend the business to include producing personalised products and ‘MMM Gifts’ was born! A year on, in August 2021, here I am getting my own website!
